Where are AHI's servers located?

Summary
AHI’s servers are located within the United States.

If a client had a problem with that prospect, in consultation with AHI it could be an option to expand where our servers are stored. EG – if a Chinese company wanted servers within China.

However, this would incur extra costs and would be subject to the approval and absolute involvement of AHI.

AHI may choose to not allow for servers in certain countries due to regulations and restrictions.

Why would some clients have an issue with server placement?

This could be due to data sovereignty laws in certain countries. Data sovereignty laws refer to regulations and policies that govern the ownership, control, and location of data, particularly personal and sensitive data, within a specific geographic jurisdiction. These laws are designed to protect the rights and privacy of individuals and organizations by imposing restrictions on the transfer, processing, and storage of data across national borders.

Data sovereignty laws typically require that data generated or collected within a country's borders be stored and processed within that country's territory and may also mandate that data be subject to the jurisdiction and legal framework of that country.
