Where does the data of FaceScan get processed and stored?

Summary
FaceScan data is pre-processed on device for de-identification purposes.

Currently, data collected from a scan is pre-processed on the device. This is done for de-identification purposes. To remove the need of sending a User's image or video content to the cloud, the de-identification process converts the FaceScan video to signals. Those signals then get sent to the cloud so results can be processed.

Only the results derived from the scans will remain on a User’s device. Results from previously conducted FaceScans can be deleted by a User at any time. Results from scans are not stored anywhere beyond a User’s device.

AHI is constantly reviewing processes and abilities regarding data and privacy. New advancement and access, brings new ability and process. Announcements regarding future data management are due before the end of the 2023 financial year.
